Teaching Manuals- images, step-by-step, cues, common errors
4 hours of Online Mentoring - via group zoom call, facebook group, weekly email with teaching prompts, trick spotlights, problem solving.
We are passionate about helping you become the best teacher you can be. We focus not just on how to do aerial tricks, but on the why behind different teaching approaches, considerations for teaching different ages and demographics of students, how to troubleshoot tricks that just aren’t working for certain students, and how to offer progressions to suit individual needs.
Courses levles follow sequencing of:
Foundations + Level 1 + Level 2 - setting you up with the essentials of teaching Aerial to beginners, as well as our Adaptive Approach Workshop.
Because of the amount of crossover between Silks and Hammock we offer a combined Foundations for Aerial Fabric.
Similarly for Trapeze and Aerial Hoop we offer a combined Foundations for Aerial Bar.
From there you can follow into Intermediate and Advanced on individual apparatus.
Level 3 Intermediate - This is where you start adding some dynamic movement like rolls, drops. Getting stronger with harder shapes and complex sequences.
Level 4 Advanced - We start to combine those complex skills together, stacking drops, longer sequences, challenge your flexibility and stamina, as well as building strength for single arm hangs.
